Overview
The Research Department
at Heart and Vascular Institute of Texas was formed in 1994 to support
the scientific interests of our 13 board-certified, fellowship-trained,
cardiologists. These physicians have conducted over 60 (Phase II – IV)
clinical trials of the latest investigational medicines, devices, and
gene therapies. With a searchable database of over 100,000 patients,
our 13 physicians are readily able to exceed the enrollment
expectations of our sponsors. Our site also experiences few patients
who are lost to follow-up or who withdraw consent. This trend is due to
our thorough screening methods, enthusiastic coordinators, and
pre-established rapport with our patients.
